Line Problems Cut Power In Sonora

A fire in power lines caused power problems in the north Sonora area this morning.

Sonora City firefighters were called to Shaws Flat Road, between Roble and Saratoga Road, around 6:45 a.m. Officials at the scene say power lines were on fire there.

The power went out soon after in the Sonora and Columbia areas. PG and E spokeswoman Emily Barnett said 405 customers were effected by the outage. She said 158 customers were still in the dark as of 8:30 a.m. Power for them was expected to be back on by 9:30 this morning.
