Murder-Suicide Attempt In Modesto

A Modesto man is dead and his wife seriously wounded in an apparent Murder suicide in that city.

Emergency units responding to a 911 call found 80 year-old Mary McKibbin with a gun shot wound to the neck...her 83 year-old husband Warren dead in their bedroom.

Police say a gun found next to the man is believed to have been used in both shootings. Detectives believe the husband was motivated by some medical problems his wife was enduring. An investigation continues.
