Candidates Campaign in CaliforniaWednesday, February 25, 2004 - 01:45 AM
With Super Tuesday now less than a week away... the state of California is preparing for election day.
Locally, four candidates are competing for three seats on the Sonora City Council, and seven candidates are vying for three seats on the Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors. Candidates for the County Board will be appearing on AM-1450 KVML's Candidates Forum, starting Wednesday at 12:30pm. The Forum will be streamed live on http://www.mymotherlode.com, and will also be rebroadcast Saturday afternoon.
Starting today, Presidential candidate John Edwards will visit California. He'll be on the campaign stump at Pomona College in Claremont this morning... and he'll be in Fresno this afternoon before moving on to Sacramento tonight.
Tomorrow, Edwards will campaign in San Francisco and L.A.
There's no word yet on campaign stops for Senator John Kerry or President George W. Bush.
