California's job outlook has improved, with more than 22-thousand new jobs created in January.
Overall unemployment dropped to six-point-one percent, as the number of people who reported being employed at a new state record. A survey of employers shows the state has more than 14-point-four (m) million payroll jobs. That's not including farm workers and the self-employed.
The survey shows the state's lost jobs are in mining, manufacturing and the financial sector.
Jobs added were in the areas of construction, trade, transportation, utilities, information, education and health services.
