Throughout the day visitors to the park can sit by the campfire with gold miners who have staked a claim at Columbia and learn about mining life in 1850s. Historic buildings will also be open for viewing, such as the Justice Court, the barber shop and the Tibbits and Martinez houses.

A birthday dance caps off the day down the street in Angelo's Hall starting at 8 p.m.
