Perez Named Deputy Supervisor of Stanislaus National Forest

There's a new deputy supervisor at the Stanislaus National Forest.

Jerry Perez is currently the National Litigation Coordinator at the USDA Forest Service Headquarters in Washington, D.C.

Forest Service officials made the announcement yesterday.

Perez has served with the Peace Corps and worked to establish a nursery in Ghana, Africa, where he produced 100-thousand seedlings each year.

He also has a bachelors degree in Forest Resources Management.
