Modesto Police Seek Suspect in Fatal Shooting

Modesto police are searching for a wanted parolee who they say is armed and dangerous, and suspected in the shooting death of a teen on Friday.

22-year-old Mikhiel Leinweber, known as Micky, allegedly shot a 15-year-old girl in the head and left her to die in a parked car. Neighbors discovered the girl's body slumped over in the vehicle.

The victim had been a student at Modesto High School, but had reportedly dropped out recently. Investigators are looking into whether the suspect and victim knew each other, but say they don't have a motive in the shooting.

Suspect Leinweber is described as 6'1", 165 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Leinweber is urged to contact Modesto Police.
