Giraffe Born in Santa Rosa

More than 80 school children visiting the Safari West wildlife attraction in Santa Rosa got a surprise Wednesday with the live birth of a giraffe.

It took two hours, but when it was all said and done the students got to see the birth of Zarafa, standing six feet tall and weighing in at about 100 pounds.
