Plane Crashes near Columbia

A plane is reported to have crashed in the Mother Lode this Memorial Day.

Initial calls went out around 11am, to the area of Springfield Road at Horseshoe Bend near Columbia.

Emergency crews are responding to the plane crash and the resulting fire.

There's no word yet on the cause of the crash or any possible injuries to the airplane's occupants.
