Gambling Galore at The Warehouse

Monday, June 28, 2004 - 02:00 PM
Finishing touches are put in place at The Warehouse, the new non-smoking annex of the Black Oak Casino.

As construction crews work vigorously to complete Phase II of the Black Oak Casino, finishing touches are put in place at The Warehouse.

The Warehouse is the casino's new non-smoking annex, which will bring Black Oak's total number of slot machines to nearly 1,000.

Slots machines fill an Indian casino.

Also, 3-card poker tables, expanded Blackjack, and a new Players Club will allow gamblers even more variety.

Grand opening at The Warehouse is slated for this Friday afternoon at 3pm, and officials say, to start, it will only be open on weekends.

The final steel beam is lowered into place at the new Black Oak Casino building under construction.

Construction on Black Oak's Phase II is expected to be finished by year's end, and will bring 350 additional jobs to the community of Tuolumne, where the gaming facilities are located.

Black Oak Casino, owned and operated by the Tuolumne Band of Me-Wuk Indians, opened in May 2001.
