Nesler Wanted On Attempted Murder SuspicionTuesday, July 27, 2004 - 07:50 AM
The Nesler name back in the news....this time, 22 year-old William Nesler is wanted by Sonora law enforcement on suspicion of attempted murder after beating a 45-year-old man Sunday morning.
Sheriffs spokesman said Nesler had just been released from jail a hour before the beating took place. He had been serving a 30-day sentence for beating the same man. That man said to be in critical condition at a Modesto hospital as of yesterday.
William Nesler is the son of the Jamestown courtroom slayer Ellie Nesler, who in April 1993 shot a man accused of molesting children at a church camp, including William Nesler.
Ellie Nesler is currently serving time in prison on recent drug charges.
