Was Frey In On The Peterson Murders?

In from Scott Peterson's double-murder trial comes testimony that Peterson's mistress -- Amber Frey -- was a suspect in Laci Peterson's disappearance.

And Steven Jacobson, a Stanislaus County investigator, was forced to admit on the stand that his initial notes on the case indicated -- quote -- "there was no way one person could have done that to Laci Peterson."

Jacobson also revealed that one of the reasons he wanted to get a wiretap is because he believed there were co-conspirators in Laci Peterson's disappearance case.

Prosecutors allege Peterson killed his wife in their Modesto home on or around December 24th, 2002, then dumped her weighted body from a small boat into San Francisco Bay.
