State Hold Giant Yard Sale

California is cleaning out its garage and holding a yard sale.

The state will be selling off surplus office equipment and computers, along with cars, espresso machines and baseball cards the accumulated over the years.

The massive housecleaning is part of Governor Schwarzenegger's campaign to make state government more efficient. Other items that will be put up for sale include tools, restaurant equipment, jewelry and baseball cards. There are three airplane engines, a popcorn machine, three-thousand light bulbs for traffic signals, a lemonade dispenser and at least one forklift.

There are thousands of knives and scissors confiscated at airport security checkpoints.

And the sale includes a 1995 Ford Mustang with 48,000 miles seized by South Lake Tahoe police.

In case bargain hunters can't be in Sacramento for the sale on Friday and Saturday -- the state is also selling many items on eBay.
