Pinnell's Carpet One Awarded Business of Year

Dignitaries and business owners gathered last night in Murphys for the annual Installation Dinner for the Calaveras County Chamber of Commerce.

And the winner of the Calaveras County Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year was Pinnell's Carpet One.

Owner Dan Pinnell accepted the award last night at the Chamber Installation Dinner, which was held at Ironstone Vineyards.

"I think it's wonderful to be recognized for all those years of participating in the community. Jeannie and I both feel blessed to live here, and we believe that you've got to put back what you've taken out," Pinnell said Tuesday night.

Guest speaker John Kautz of Ironstone Vineyards also recounted his trip to Japan with Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and the new Calaveras County Chamber of Commerce board was also installed.
