Jamestown House Fire Contained

An early-morning house fire in Jamestown caused an estimated $400,000 in damage.  No one was in the house at the time and no one was injured fighting the blaze.

Fire fighters have contained a house fire in Jamestown.

CDF-Tuolumne Fire Marshall Kari Hubbard says that the fire totally razed the home off of Jacksonville Road, near Bell Mooney Road, on Jenny Court.


Damage is estimated at four-hundred-thousand dollars following the early-morning house fire in the Jamestown area.

Four engines and two water tenders were dispatched when the fire was first reported at 4:45 this morning.

Smoke may be visible throughout the Jamestown area this morning. Residents that observe smoke in the area do not need to contact the fire department. There were no injuries and the home was not occupied when the inferno erupted. Hubbard says damage is estimated at $400-thousand.
