City Council Holds Special Meeting TodayMonday, January 31, 2005 - 05:25 AM
The Sonora City Council meets in a special session this afternoon.
The council will hold a public hearing on the use of $170,000 of city money for the Homebuyer's Assistance Loan Program. The issue of changeable message signs in the city will again be brought up, after a lengthy discussion at the most recent city council meeting. A bike trail feasibility and alignment study is also on this afternoon's agenda as are longevity pay increases for city public works employees who've been on the payroll ten and fifteen years, respectively, and council members will also look at signing a contract with an online auction service to dispose of property for the Sonora Police Department.
