Storm Update

Unexpected heavy snowfall has caused some trees to break powerlines resulting in numerous power outages throughout the Mother Lode. There are an estimated 1,000 PG&E customers who were without power Wednesday morning including 80 customers in Mi-Wuk Village. PG&E crews are encountering so much snow that some areas have become inaccessible. PG&E spokesperson Emily Barnett says that power for most of its' customers should be restored by early Wednesday evening.
