Placerville Mudslide WednesdayThursday, March 24, 2005 - 01:15 PM
A mudslide in Placerville caused quite a mess but no injuries at a grocery store Wednesday. A bank of land 100 feet wide by 100 feet long slid down and crashed into the Cash and Carry Wholesale Food Store. The mud pushed a van into the building and several trees were knocked down and scattered into the parking lot. Crews used bulldozers late Wednesday afternoon to begin clearing the parking lot.
