Spring Storm Brings New Snow to Mother Lode

An early spring storm dropped 18 inches of new snow in the Sierra Nevada.

Winds blew through the Mother Lode Sunday and were followed by heavy rain in lower elevations and snow in the mountains.

More rain is expected at times until the storm moves out of the area Wednesday morning.
