Sacramento, CA -- California's receiving an additional $2 million dollars in federal funds to fight the West Nile virus.
The money will be used to help California improve lab testing, track the virus and evaluate mosquito-control efforts. California had 771 cases of the virus last year, the highest number in the nation, and 23 deaths.
