Two Men In Custody After Early Morning Robbery

Modesto, CA -- Authorities have two men in custody after an armed robbery in Modesto early this morning.

Police say two armed men entered an AM/PM store at about 3:30 this morning and committed the robbery.

An officer responding to the scene saw a vehicle matching the description of the suspects' getaway car and began pursuit. Two suspects then reportedly left the car fled on foot.

The driver of the car was taken into custody as SWAT team members set up a perimeter and began a search of the neighborhood. A second suspect was arrested shortly thereafter. Police say a third suspect remains at large.

Officers say the investigation continues.
