Jamestown, CA -- A 52-year-old Riverbank woman is recovering from serious injuries following a single vehicle accident on highway 120 Saturday afternoon.
CHP says Hipolita Gomez was a passenger in the vehicle along with five others travelling eastbound at about 1:30 Just east of the Tuolumne-Stanislaus County line. Authorities say the car left the road and went up an embankment before rolling several times.
Gomez was airlifted to Memorial Medical Center in Modesto.
The other five, including the driver, 29-year-old Pedro Cortez, were transported by ambulance with minor injuries.
