Donnel Reservoir, CA -- The Tuolumne County Narcotics Team along with officials from the California Department of Justice eradicated a small marijuana grow operation in The Stanislaus National Forest yesterday.
Officials used aircraft and a team of agents from the Sheriff's Department, the Campaign Against Marijuana Growing and Law enforcement from the U.S. Forest Service to seize the 190 plant operation on the middle fork of the Stanislaus river about a mile west of Donnel Reservoir.
Officials say the marijuana's street value is estimated to be about $665,000. The operation was part of an ongoing effort to eradicate marijuana growing operations on public lands.
