Jamestown Grass Fire Contained

San Andreas, CA -- CDF crews are on the scene of a small grass fire in Jamestown.

CDF Dispatch says the fire was located in a grassy area behind the Preston Apartments. The call was received by fire officials at 11:17 am.

The blaze is now said to be contained.

Crews remain on scene conducting mop-up operations. No evacuations were necessary.

CDF says there was no damage to the apartments or any other structures.
