Yosemite National Park, CA -- The Yosemite Fund will present a multi-million dollar donation to the National Park Service for improvements in Yosemite National Park during a tour of dramatic Olmsted Point along the Tioga Road.
The $1.5 million restoration effort is currently underway and this year alone, the nonprofit Yosemite Fund paid for 54 projects to improve Yosemite. Organizers say The Yosemite Fund has raised more than $35 million for more than 200 park projects since 1985. The donation will be made Friday morning at 11:00 at Olmsted Point.
