San Andreas, CA -- Calaveras High School is celebrating 100 years next month.
Festivities planned are the big football game against rival Bret Harte High School, which celebrated its centennial earlier this year. The game takes place November 11th at Calaveras. Fireworks are planned for halftime. The Calaveras Redskins are undefeated so far this year. Also planned is a steak dinner at 6 p.m., Saturday, November 12th in the San Andreas Town Hall. The night will feature self guided tours and a historical display.
A $20 ticket includes both events or the game is just $5. Tickets for the dinner are limited and are going fast.
