New EDC Officers Elected

Sonora, CA -- The Economic Development Company has appointed its new officers for this year.

At their first meeting, board members selected Jim Riggs as President, Fred Rowden as Vice President, David Harris as Secretary, and George Segarini as Treasurer.

To give the new board the opportunity to assess the EDC and its true mission, members have elected to suspend the move to the Chamber of Commerce for 60 days.

The board feels that it is a time to step back and reflect on the economic needs of the community, and see what steps the EDC can take to better serve in that capacity.
