Modesto Man Arrested For Copperopolis Burglaries

Copperopolis, CA -- A joint operation between the Calaveras County Sheriff's Department and the Modesto Police Department helped to apprehend a burglary suspect.

Sheriff's deputies received reports of burglary and grand theft from the Lake Tulloch True Value and a construction site in Copperopolis on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Later in the day Modesto Police notified deputies that they found some of the stolen items during a search of John Boston's home. Investigators believe there is an unknown accomplice and are asking for the public's help in locating the second suspect.

Anyone who might have seen a white 1982 Chevy crew cab pick-up with or without a white flat bed trailer in the Copperopolis area earlier in the week is asked to call the Sheriff's Department.
