Yosemite National Park, CA -- The public comment period for the Hetch Hetchy Communications System Upgrade Project is in full swing following an open house Wednesday.
Yosemite National Park invited people to talk to park staff and listen to presentations given throughout the day. However, Adrianne Freeman with the park says everyone was most interested in the Hetch Hetchy project, which would replace the communications system throughout Tuolumne County, add one new site within Yosemite and another new site within Stanislaus National Forest.
Freeman says public scoping for the project is open until March 27th. Comments will be accepted at Open House events and more information is available by contacting Yosemite National Park.
