Sonora, CA -- The Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors will hear the County Administrator's recommendation for the future of Tuolumne General Hospital tomorrow.
Brent Wallace released his report Thursday outlining his thoughts about the hospital. Three possible scenarios were provided by the Lewin Group including rebuilding the hospital and operating it as an acute care facility, turning it into a non-acute clinic or closing it down.
Wallace is recommending operation of the hospital as a non-acute facility. The board will consider approving the March 28th date for a public hearing at its meeting Tuesday.
