Fire District Receives Donation

Mountain Ranch, CA -- The Central Calaveras Fire & Rescue Protection District has received a $1,500 donation from the Glencoe American Legion Auxiliary.

Pat Ross and the Auxiliary gave Fire Chief Robert Gill the check last week.

Gill said the money would be used to purchase a new hand held rechargeable radio unit.

Central Calaveras Fire District covers Glencoe, Mountain Ranch, Railroad Flat, and Sheep Ranch.

The new radio unit will be assigned to the Glencoe/Rail Road Flat region.
