Railtown 1897 Offers Free Ride To Locals

Jamestown, CA -- Tuolumne and Calaveras County residents can ride for free at Railtown 1897 this weekend.

Public Programs Manager Mova Verde says it is a great opportunity to showcase the trains and draw locals to Jamestown.

Verde believes that residents who enjoy themselves this weekend will be more likely to bring visitors back with them in the future.

There will be five trains running, the first will leave at 11:00am and the last will pull out of the station at 3:00pm. Proof of residency is required to participate.
