Scott Peterson's Family Offers $250K Reward For Killer

Modesto, CA -- The family and friends of Scott Peterson have established a quarter million dollar reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction for the abduction and murder of Laci and Conner Peterson, his wife and their unborn son.

Peterson's family says the reward would also be paid for specific information leading to the exoneration and release of Scott Peterson.

According to Peterson's father, Lee Peterson, the family "felt this new reward would encourage people to come forward who have specific knowledge that would lead to a just conviction of the true criminals."

Scott Peterson was convicted November 12, 2004, in the murders. He's now on Death Row at San Quentin State Prison.
