Country Western Jib And Rail Showdown Re-Set At Dodge Ridge

Dodge Ridge, CA -- An untimely snowstorm forced cancellation of last Saturday's scheduled Third Annual Western Jib and Rail Showdown at Dodge Ridge Winter Sports Area.

According to Sales Manager Dan Kelsay, the event will be rescheduled for this Saturday, with events and competition getting underway at noon.

Despite the postponement visitors can still sign-up for the Jib and Rail Showdown competition from 8:00am to 10:00am Saturday morning at Creekside Lodge.

Competition will be judged for three levels in runs and tricks. A "Best Trick of the Day" will be judged by all competitors and the third round of awards will be offered for the best country-western-cowboy costumes.

The band Autoselect will perform Saturday, at the Creekside Lodge, and the resort will feature it's Locals Cafe deck barbecue Saturday and Sunday.

All proceeds from the Brew Fest event held Saturday will be donated to the Disability Resource Agency for Independent Living Foundation.
