Jamestown, CA -- A parolee is on the run following an early morning vehicle stop in Jamestown Wednesday.
The Tuolumne County Sheriff's Department says Deputy Dan Graziose stopped a black Honda driven by a local woman on Highway 108 at Rawhide Road. When the car stopped, the passenger jumped out and began running away from Deputy Graziose.
The man was later identified as Curtis Wyrick, who is a parolee at large. Reports indicate Wyrick was wearing a black leather jacket and blue jeans when he ran behind the Whistle Stop gas station.
The search for Wyrick is ongoing after a search of the area turned up nothing.
