Sonora, CA -- It's called "A Taste For Mentoring" and it's set for Sunday at the Aronos Hall in Sonora from 2 to 4PM.
The purpose of the fundraiser is to benefit the Amador-Tuolumne Community Action Agency's Mentoring Works program. That program enlists adults to make a one-year commitment to mentor at-risk youths two to four hours a week. Spokesperson Elena Linehan says the tasting will be courtesy of Backstreet Bar & Grill, Banny's Cafe, Blue's Deli & Cafe, Lickskillet Cafe, Papa's New Roost and Seven Sisters at Black Oak Casino.
In addition to some great treats, there will also be a silent auction for two tickets to the Strawberry Music Festival (which is sold out) and a Sacramento Monarch autographed basketball.
