Memorial Day Weekend Traffic Delays

Sonora, CA -- Today marks the start of the Memorial Day weekend, and with that comes traffic delays.

There are reports of slow moving traffic on Highway 108 from Oakdale through Sonora. Several people say traffic is only moving five miles an hour due to traffic lights in Jamestown.

Accidents throughout the county are also slowing the afternoon commute. It is advisable to roll your windows down rather than use your air conditioning when stuck in traffic to keep your engine from overheating.
