Saturday Fire Destroys Tuolumne Rd. Barn

Sonora, CA -- An early Saturday morning fire completely destroyed a barn located at 18312 Tuolumne Rd.

Craig Hart, of C.D.F.-Tuolumne County Fire Department, reports the 60 year old structure, owned by Barbara Tolar, was used for storage purposes.

Structural damage was estimated at $20,000. Contents were valued at $5,000.

Arson is suspected. If you have any relevant information, you are encouraged to contact C.D.F.-Tuolumne County Fire Inspector Captain Romey Jones at 532-0821.
