Oakdale, CA -- 20 year old Katherine Graham of Cold Springs has been identified as the victim who died following that Friday afternoon four car accident on Highway 108 west of Lovers' Leap in Stanilaus County.
According to the Modesto C.H.P., Graham was driving under the influence at the time of the accident. Headed westbound, Graham crossed the center line and clipped one vehicle and then hit two others. One of the other vehicles caught fire. That fire engulfed Graham who had been ejected through the right front window of her 1997 Suzuki Sidekick. She was not wearing a seatbelt. Responders airflighted her to the U.C. Davis Medical Center in Sacramento where she succumed to her injuries.
Traffic was stalled for approximately three hours.
