Chinese Camp, CA -- According to C.D.F. officials, it was spontaneous combustion within a commercial truck trailer that caused a late Tuesday afternoon fire at Sierra Industries.
Spokesman Craig Hart reports the fire moved into a dust hopper. There was only $100 worth of damage to sawdust ... no damage to the truck. Responding to the fire were two C.D.F. Tuolumne Fire Department engines and one water tender, one engine from the Sierra Conservation Center and one fire truck from the Sonora Fire Department.
