Accident Causes 70 Gallons Of Fuel To Spill

Friday, June 30, 2006 - 03:45 PM

San Andreas, CA -- A San Andreas man will be spending his weekend cleaning up 70 gallons of diesel fuel after an accident Friday morning.

The Highway Patrol says 42 year old Raymond Newcomb of Sacramento was driving a Napa Auto Parts delivery truck on Highway 4 when he fell asleep at the wheel.

Reports indicate Newcomb's truck left the roadway and ended up down an embankment on John Tisconia's property.

As a result of the accident, the fuel tank ruptured and spilled 70 gallons of fuel onto Tisconia's land.
