Stockton Resident Injured In San Andreas Accident

San Andreas, CA -- 61 year old Dave Hendrickson of Stockton has been cited and charged with "driving under the influence" following an early Sunday morning single vechicle accident.

At approximately five o'clock, Hendrickson was traveling northbound on Hwy 49 south of River Ranch Rd. when his vehicle ran off the right edge of the roadway and down an embankment continuing some 275 feet before striking a pine tree.

Hendrickson sustained considerable chest trauma and was transported to Mark Twain Hospital and flown to Doctors' hospital in Modesto for further treatment.

Hendrickson was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
