Wonderland Auditions Now Open

Arnold, CA -- Local dancers are needed for the upcoming production of “Adventures in Wonderland.”

The Satori Jazz Dance Company in Arnold will hold open auditions September 9 for the event, which will be held in July 2007 at the Bret Harte Theatre in Angels Camp.

The full-length dance concert is adapted from Louis Carroll's "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland." Original choreography is by Satori's founder Sarah May-Davey. Music will be from the 1960s and 1970s.

Parts are available for 30 dancers from ages 8 to adult. Dance styles include modern, jazz, swing, lyrical and Asian.

Rehearsals take place at 1 and 3 p.m. at Kline's Fitness Club in Arnold. For more information, contact (209) 795-4274.
