Copperopolis Resident Suffers Minor Injury In Hwy 49 Accident

San Andreas, CA -- 21 year old Rebecca Nesler suffered facial lacerations in a two vehicle collision Wednesday morning at approximately 8:30 at Hwy 49 and Red Hill Rd. south of Angels Camp.

According to Highway Patrol reports, Nesler was stopped westbound on Red Hill Rd. In attempting to make a left hand southbound turn onto Hwy 49 she failed to yield the right of way to a northbound logging truck driven by 56 year old Frank Pierro of MiWuk Village.

Pierro was uninjured.
