Sonora, CA-- CDF officials of the Tuolumne- Calaveras Unit have a new addition to the fire prevention staff.
Fire Captain Specialist Ken Warnock is a long-time Tuolumne County resident and has been working for CDF since 1985. His career began as a fire fighter in Twain Harte; he eventually progressed through the ranks at various stations in the Mother Lode. Warnock also spent part of his career as a Helitack captain at Columbia Airbase. He has an Associate's Degree in Administration of Justice from Modesto Junior College and became a Law Enforcement Officer three years ago.
Warnock's duties include fire investigations, peace officer training, prevention education and information and several other duties.
