Jupiter, CA-- Over 14,000 marijuana plants have been eradicated in Jupiter.
Friday, The Tuolumne Narcotics team, the DOJ CAMP team and the U.S Forest Service, found the large marijuana garden in the MT. Knight area. The plants were several feet tall and if harvested, would have been worth tens of millions of dollars. The garden was inaccessible, except by helicopter which CAMP supplied. Sheriff's officials say the plants were cut down, and will eventually be burned. They say this harvest alone is nearly twice as many plants that have ever been seized in one harvest season in Tuolumne County.
There are currently no suspects in custody and the investigation is ongoing.
