Sacramento, CA -- Today Senator Chuck Poochigian is saying goodbye to his constituents, which includes some residents in Tuolumne County.
Poochigian is termed out on the state Senate and made an unsuccessful bid for Attorney General during the November General Election. His last day in office is today, November 30. Poochigian says for the past 12 years he, “sought to act on strong beliefs to address big public policy challenges.”
On his last day he thanked his staff for their loyalty and public service.
Poochigian says his constituents will be very well served by his successor, Senator-elect Dave Cogdill. Cogdill was termed out as the state Assemblyman for District 25, covering Calaveras and Tuolumne counties.
