Vehicle Fire Strikes In JamestownWednesday, December 27, 2006 - 10:00 AM

Jamestown, CA -- A car fire totally disabled a vehicle Tuesday afternoon in Jamestown.
17 year old Jeffrey Edwards of Cedar Ridge pulled into the Chevron station off Hwy 108 and noticed smoke coming from the engine compartment. Fire then broke out in his 1997 Dodge Stratus.
Fire crews from Jamestown, Chinese Camp and C.D.F. quickly responded and extinguished the fire.
Cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
