Fire Strikes A Longeway Road Residence

Sonora, CA -- A Thursday evening fire struck an under-constuction private residence at 21870 Longeway Road.

Tuolumne County Fire Marshall Kary Hubbard reports a damage estimate of approximately $60,000 with a structure savings of $400,000.

Responding to the blaze: the C.D.F.-Tuolumne County Fire Department and the Twain Harte Fire Protection District.

No one was living at the residence at the time of the fire. No injuries to firefighters were reported.

Cause of the fire remains under investigation.
