Sonora Resident Injured In Motorcycle Accident

Sonora, CA -- 23 year old Trevor Carter of Sonora suffered only minor injuries after being involved in a motorcycle accident in the Regal Theatre parking lot during the nine o'clock hour Sunday evening.

Carter was test driving a 2001 Suzuki motorcycle when he revved the engine, popped the clutch and lost control of the bike. The motorcycle struck a curb and the force of the impact sent Carter and the motorcycle airborne for approximately 35 feet.

Carter does not possess a driver's license endorsement to be operating a motorcycle.
